CURRICULUM
Our program, based on Christian values, nurtures your child's creativity and individuality. Our curriculum aligns with the KSDE Early Learning Benchmarks and the Olathe Public School District. It is designed to provide experiences that prepare your child for a successful transition to Kindergarten.
Our Daily Schedule includes
Christian character traits taught through Bible stories, music and Bible verses
Weekly chapel
Opportunities for verbal expression to develop communication skills and self confidence
Play-Based Learning
Number recognition and early math skills
Phonemic awareness/phonics lessons to develop pre-reading and pre-writing skills
Learning Center Approach - dramatic play, block building, manipulatives, art, science and literature
Music & Movement sessions and recess to develop large motor skills
Opportunities to make choices, think creatively, and problem solve
Exposure to an abundance of children's literature
Social interaction to encourage sharing and respect for others
